Use your early years expertise to support schools and improve outcomes for children
Services for Young Children (SfYC) are looking to appoint dynamic and enthusiastic full time teachers to the post of Early Years District Advisory Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your early years expertise and join a supportive team of professionals working across the county.
The key purpose of the role is to support schools and settings in improving outcomes for their children through the implementation of the SfYC strategic plan. The District Advisory Teacher role is a senior role within the service and involves the strategic direction of the work of the district and also the management and deployment of the Advisory Teachers within the district.
As a qualified teacher you must have current experience and/or knowledge of working within the maintained, private, voluntary and independent sectors, and across the birth to five years age range. You will work within a diverse team, working in partnership to deliver quality experiences for our youngest children.
Please note that the nature of the work does involve some work and travel across the County.
