This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated teacher to join our high performing and successful Design and Technology Department.
We are looking to appoint a committed colleague with a real interest in the provision of quality and imaginative teaching in all specialisms within Design Technology. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to motivate students through inspirational teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a thriving school and supportive department, who work very much as team.
Results over the last few years have been Outstanding, In 2018 Hospitality and Catering results were (Grade 9-4 97% 9-7 27%) and Product Design results were (Grade 9-4 81% 9-7 33%)
The person we are seeking will:
• be passionate about teaching and learning.
• be able to inspire students to enjoy Design & Technology, both within and beyond the classroom.
• be an outstanding classroom practitioner and be able to teach up to Key Stage 4 Product Design and at least one other Design and Technology discipline across the key stages and ability range.
