Job/Person Summary

We are seeking to appoint a talented teaching assistant to join our very successful teaching team, to  provide particular support to one or more children with identified special educational needs.  This is an excellent opportunity for the right applicant and will be particularly suited to someone interested or experienced in supporting young children with identified learning difficulties.  You will need to be passionate about learning, and supporting children to achieve their best.  You will have excellent communication and team-working skills, patience and good humour, and you will also be comfortable working in a classroom environment, supporting individual children or small groups, or working out of doors.

The successful candidate will have good literacy and maths skills (with GCSE English and maths at a good level, or equivalent) and experience of working with children, ideally in a primary school.
