Job/Person Summary

Danebury School is a small 11-16 secondary school on the outskirts of Stockbridge (one of the “best places to live” in The Sunday Times in 2022).  Our rural location adds a unique dimension to school life and our links across the community. It is also an easy commute from Winchester, Salisbury, Andover, Romsey and Southampton.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Cover Supervisor to organise the planning and allocation of cover arrangements for planned and unplanned absences, and supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. This is a busy role requiring a patient but assertive manner and the ability to deal with a range of situations.  Good organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as a team.

Candidates will be committed to the learning and development of pupils and must possess good GCSE qualifications (or equivalent).  In return we will offer you the opportunity to train and develop,  this might be an excellent opportunity for someone considering a career in teaching.
