Job/Person Summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Caretaker who will be a core part of our Freegrounds team, responsible for keeping our school site tidy, clean, safe and secure taking a personal pride in the appearance of the school both inside and out. 

The ideal candidate will need to be hard working, dependable, able to use their own initiative and show flexibility in their approach to their duties.  The position includes a range of practical and DIY skills and overseeing key health and safety procedures which are essential to ensure our school is safe and well maintained for our pupils and staff.   Additional relevant training will be provided.

The hours of work are 25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.  We can be flexible about how these hours are distributed but the post requires a split shift to open and lock the school site on a daily basis.
