We are on the threshold of “outstanding” and are expanding due to our increasing popularity and number of students. We have a welcoming staff body, who support each other at all times and maintain a good work - life balance.

We are looking to appoint a new HLTA and the successful candidate will work as part of an established Learning Support Team supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work in education and enjoys working with young people aged 11-16.  You will be a valuable member of the team supporting students with Special Educational needs both in the classroom and in small intervention groups.

Experience, particularly in Special Needs would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.  Enthusiasm, being able to think outside of the box, excellent communication skills and the willingness to learn new skills are required.  In return, the rewards are high, being able to make a difference in our students’ future and wellbeing.  Furthermore, this post is an excellent opportunity for applicants wishing to seek a future career in teaching.

Cranbourne is a successful, innovative and rapidly improving 11-16 school.  Students and staff are proud of their School and our achievements.  We offer an excellent induction programme, an exciting learning and teaching environment and first-class on-going professional learning opportunities to further enhance your career.

Candidates are required to have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.  Full and part time hours will be considered.
