We have vacancies for full or part time Teaching Assistants to join our highly effective Learning Support team, who provide a variety of high-quality support to students in lessons. We are seeking applicants who are highly motivated and committed, with excellent communication skills, and the resilience to support a range of students across the ability range to maximise their potential. Candidates are required to have English and Maths GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not necessary.
A desire to make a difference will be equally valued, along with a good sense of humour.
We have consistently high achievement (2017: 53% Grade 5+ in English and Maths) and the college was categorised as ‘good’ in its last OFSTED inspection in March 2018. The college provides an extensive staff induction programme and in addition, staff have a comprehensive range of opportunities for continuing professional development.
